How long does my order take?
In-stock ready-made items ship or are ready for local pickup within 1–2 business days. Personalized items have a lead time of 7–10 business days before shipping. Pre-order and restocking items show their expected ship date on the product page, and any holiday-season changes are posted on the homepage.
Do you offer local pickup in Lynchburg?
Yes. If you're local to Lynchburg, Virginia, choose free pickup at checkout and we'll email you when your order is ready.
What's the difference between ready-made and personalized?
Ready-made pieces are printed with a set phrase (like 'To Do,' 'Thanks a Bunch,' or 'Happy Birthday') and ship quickly. Personalized pieces are printed with your name, initials, or custom text and are made to order. Both start from the same original paintings.
How do I enter my personalization?
On the product page, choose your design, font, and personalization style, then type your text exactly as it should appear, including capitalization and punctuation. We print what you enter, so please double-check spelling before you order.
What sizes are your products?
- Notecards: A2 (5.5 x 4.25 in), with envelopes. Ready-made sets of 10; personalized sets of 25 or 50.
- Notepads: Square notepads in 50 or 100 sheets, 3.5 x 8.5 in list pads, and 4 x 6 in pads.
- Gift tags: Square (2.75 x 2.75 in) or rectangular (2 x 3.5 in), in sets of 10, 12, 24, or 25, with envelopes or string.
- Wine tags: 2.5 x 6.5 in, sized to slip over the neck of a bottle. Sets of 8, 16, or 24.
- Paper coasters: 3.75 x 3.75 in, in sets of 8, 16, 24, or 48.
What paper do you use?
Notecards, gift tags, and wine tags are printed on 120 lb premium-weight paper with an eggshell finish. Coasters are printed on 240 lb double-thick eggshell ultrawhite stock, disposable but durable enough to last. Every piece is designed to feel as good as it looks.
Where does the artwork come from?
Every design begins as an original abstract painting by artist and owner Meredith McCrea Whetsell. The painting is photographed, then the stationery is designed and color-matched to complement the hues in the original. Read our story.
Can you create a custom design?
Yes! We design custom stationery for individuals and businesses, either from a new piece of original art in your colors or from an existing painting. Start with the inquiry form on our Custom Designs page.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address and order size. See our Lead Times & Shipping Information for details.
Can I return or exchange an item?
Because of the custom nature of our work, we don't accept returns. Ready-made items (not purchased on sale) can be exchanged for the same type of item in a different design if you request it in writing within 30 days of receiving your order and the item is unused and in its original packaging. If anything arrives damaged, is the wrong item, or has incorrect personalization, contact us right away and we'll make it right. Full details are in our Refunds & Exchanges policy.
